I think the design of the Nerf Elite 2.0, the grip ergonomics, and material are very good and more suited for the adult Nerfer. The performance numbers are only one small part of a fun journey. I think the white and royal blue colors and similar combinations of the Elite 1.0 make those pistols look too kiddish. Granted toy blasters are kiddish to begin with, but I would rather have an obsession for toys than the real thing in this case.

The Nerf Ace, Nerf Duo, and Nerf Trio, are in my self-defence arsenal. I recommend the duo, you can fire one shot and keep another in the barrel for defence as you reload, whilst being highly concealable.
