Gomosanseong Fortress is a fortress of the Three Kingdoms period on Yeongnam-daero, a transportation route connecting Hanyang and the Yeongnam region.

Gomosanseong Fortress is a fortress that utilizes ridges and sheer cliffs, and is a defensive fortress built at the bottleneck of the canyon.

To the east of the fortress is the “Rabit Biri”(rabbit road). The rabbit road is a cliff road that follows the cliff and crosses the cliff, so some of the roads were installed.

"Biri" means a dangerous cliff on a river or beach cliff.
Rabbit corruption is also called "Gwangapcheon Jando."

There is a legend that this road was blocked while King Taejo Wang Geon of Goryeo went south, and he made a path when he saw a rabbit running along a cliff.
In other words, it can be seen that the history of this road is quite old.

This is a water tree and canyon where Joryeongcheon Stream flowing from Mungyeong and Yeonggang River flowing from Gaeun merge and escape.

When you climb Gomosanseong Fortress, you can enjoy the scenery of Jinnamgyo Bridge around the Yeonggang River.
“Gyoban” means the scenery around the bridges.

Reflecting the importance of transportation, National Road 3, National Road 34, and National Highway 45 still pass, and there are about 10 bridges around it, making it interesting.

This place, where Gomosanseong Fortress and Jinnamgyo Bridge are located, is a very important location where many transportation routes connecting the Hangang River area and the Nakdonggang River area pass.
