In this video, I build TRITRIX speakers from Parts Express.

The build was straightforward, although finishing the cabinets was definitely the hard part.

The board supplied with the kit was very dense, good for building speakers. All the pre-cut holes were where they were supposed to be. Building the Crossovers was also straightforward, but you will have to know how to solder. There aren't too many instructional videos out there, and the crossover build did not come with instructions, so I went into detail on how to build them. As for building the cabinets, that did come with instructions and it is pretty easy. One thing you should remember, do not seal your cabinets before you have placed your crossovers inside and have run wires. They did not mention that in the instructions.

As for sound, initially I thought they were just okay, but after playing them fairly loud in my garage for a good part of the day, they sounded much better. For the price, they sound good.

Would I do it again? Probably, but I would like to make my own cabinets out of real wood. Like I said, putting the veneer on perfectly is almost impossible the first time, or at least for someone with my skill level. Although they came out good, there are definitely a few mistakes that will of course drive the person who built them insane.
