Canigao is an islet located in Eastern Visayas near the municipality of Matalom, Leyte island in the Philippines. It is known for abundant fishing grounds and scenic coral reef areas great for diving.

Just like other beach destinations in the Philippines, the best time to visit Canigao Island Leyte is during summer between the months of March to May. The weather is also good from May to July. Avoid the rainy season from the months of August to November if you want to make the most of your Canigao Island diving experience.
