According to global glass manufacturer Saint-Gobain, when manufactured sustainably, glass not only contributes an aesthetic benefit, but it also contributes greatly to a building's comfort and efficiency. With this vision in mind, Saint-Gobain is continuously exploring new ways to blend its latest research and development with the rigorous parameters of LEED. These efforts have been reinforced by Saint-Gobain’s own corporate embrace of LEED, including for its corporate headquarters in Chennai, India. Initially LEED-certified in 2013, the building was recently recertified as LEED Gold.
