Harikatha is a divine artform of Indian culture, it is one of the oldest and toughest Traditional artform of India, this artform originated in the Southern part of India, Sriman Ajjada Adibhatla Narayanadasu is known as the father of Harikatha, this artform consists of 1 Narrator who is called Bhagavataar/Bhagavatarini (in Telugu - Bhagavatulu/Bhagavathi) and 2 or more accompaniment instrumentalists playing instruments like Violin, Mridangam, Keyboard, Tabla, Morsing, Ghatam etc... This artform is considered to be very unique because the single narrator plays all the characters, sings, dances and carries out all the emotions equally.
