“Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland” is a new game released in September 2024 that takes us back to the world of our favorite characters from the animated series “Rugrats”. The game is a neo-retro platformer that can be played both alone and in co-op with a friend.

Main features of the game:
Characters: In the game, you can play as Tommy, Chuckie, Phil and Lil, each of whom has their own unique appearance and slightly different characteristics (jumps and throws).
Graphics: Players can switch between classic 8-bit graphics and modern HD graphics. However, in this playthrough, I did not switch to 8-bit display. It seemed to me that it looked rather faded. And modern, on the contrary, is bright and colorful.
Gameplay: The game includes many levels where you need to collect Reptar coins to progress further.
Bosses: The game features exciting boss fights that require finding Tommy's screwdriver in the level to access.
Co-op: The ability to play in co-op mode, where players must work together to overcome obstacles and defeat enemies. I haven't tried this, but I'm sure it would be more challenging to play this game with two players than by yourself.
The game is available on multiple platforms, including PC and consoles. Although I only played it on PC (thanks to a free giveaway on the Epic Store), it's perfect for those nostalgic for the classic games and want to experience the world of Rugrats with a modern twist.
