Update: For some reason I forgot to include the part number for the fuel line clips. Here is the part #: 117-078-00-41

In this detailed video, I install the M117 Bosch fuel distributor and the sealing ring for the control piston on my 1987 560SL. This is one of my best and most detailed videos to date. Please subscribe to support my YouTube channel.

I am documenting every part of the 560SL restoration build . The idea is to end up with the best documented 560SL rebuilds on the Internet.

Links to the manual and links to all tools used in this video are below.

I want everyone who visits my channel to know about a friend of mine named Tasos. His videos inspire me to be more like him. He is so much better than I am. You can find his YouTube channel at:

My videos are not sponsored by anyone. The products and tools I use are products and tools I have purchased with my own money. I include links below to any special tools or products used in this video.

The only special tools I used in this video was the metric Flare Nut Wrench Set:

If you did not measure the piston depth, Bosch says the base recess is .6 millimeters. You can find this information on the cis-jetronic.com website. Here’s a PDF with instructions for rebuilding that provides this information and more: https://cis-jetronic.com/public_doc/0...

Here is a link to the on-line manual that I am somewhat following:
