Detroit River Walleye Fishing 2022 has finally heated up for the shore fisherman! There are fish all along the river. A Lot of smaller fish being caught. The boats seem to not have a problem finding fish . I have seen some limits from shore, but it is not from just anyone. Typically the people I see catching limits are the ones who are doing something a little different. When everyone is jiggin the same way, that different presentation seems to be key right now. For the famous upper river location, the rumors are true. They will be shutting access down to start construction on the riverwalk very soon. So get out there and catch some fish and find new fishing spots!
