Under the command of Corvette Captain Oliver Brux, the submarine U35 is returning from the Mediterranean to Eckernförde after a 4-month deployment as part of Operation "Irini". Operation "Irini" is supposed to monitor and implement the UN arms embargo in the Mediterranean. The video shows the arrival of the Marine Music Corps from Wilhelmshaven, some impressions before the submarine arrives, the submarine arriving and docking, the submarine crew joining, some pieces of music, the state anthem of Schleswig-Holstein and the national anthem, the welcome by the families and some impressions at the end.
