Frozen Shield is a Symphonic Viking Metal band from Barcelona that mixes elements from folk metal, melodic death metal and black metal with orchestral music.

The album Ínia is one of the metal releases from 2021, a very diverse album with lots of orchestral passages and powerful metal songs that tell fantastic stories about an imaginary world.

A New Tale is to Begin is the first song of the record, starting with pure orchestral sound to precede the upcoming metal song “The Greatest Journey”. As a reference to the origins of the band, the first seconds of the song perform a melody found in the first release ‘Viking March’. The calm takes over, and later on, this piece foreshadows the main theme of the next song of the album until it is exposed clearly with all the orchestra playing at once.
