66th Shey festival was the historical events Dolpopas have ever had. It was organized by the Dolpo Society - www.dolposociety.org in collaboration with 7 village development committees of Upper Dolpo and the district development committee. The founder of Dolpo Society, Ven.Nyima Rinpoche was the pillar of the entire program and it was said that more than 7 thousand locals and non locals participated the events. His Holiness Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche was the religious leader during the festival. National leaders like Ananda Pokhrel of CPN-UNL and Gagn Thapa of Nepali congress were invited to the events.
