Porsche 964 Turbo 3.6 Background and Additional Details:
Porsche released their all conquering 964 Turbo 3.6 in January, 1993 with orders immediately surpassing production capability and the entire production run being sold out essentially before the first examples had been delivered to eagerly awaiting clientele.

The all new new Turbo featured a final variation of the 3.6 liter M64 engine which now produced 360bhp at 5,500rpm. The 3.6 liter powered Turbo was produced only for the 1993/1994 model year, with fewer than 1,500 of them produced in total, making it one of the rarest and most sought after Porsches produced since the 959.

VIN:WPOZZZ96ZRS470185 Individual History:
This particular Porsche 964 Turbo 3.6 was ordered new by a German client in December of 1993. He had several specific requests that were forwarded to the Porsche Exclusive Department for approval and expense accounting. His requests were agreed and the vehicle was assembled with the following features:

-Exterior paint in Midnight Blue Metallic
-Interior in Marina Blue with Soft Supple Leather on Front and Rear Seats as Well as the Dash and Door Cards
-Special Dark Wood Trim on the Dash
-Special Dark Wood Trim on the Steering Wheel

The car started assembly on the production line with the fitting of 31 standard production options. It was then removed and sent to the Porsche Exclusive Department under the following two deviation codes or “Z-Codes":

-09981 Vehicle transferred to VRS for the installation of “Exclusive” parts (Completion April 10th, 1996)
-09991 Manufactured for client by the Porsche Exclusive Program Departement

While at the Porsche Exclusive Department the following two “X-Code” options were installed:

-X18 Dark Rootwood Instrument Dash Panel Inserts
-X30 Dark Rootwood Steering wheel with matching special soft leather in Marina Blue and with Airbag

Upon completion of the work, the car was released to the owner under a normal, domestic Germany retail sale.

This Porsche remained privately owned in Germany until dealer sold in 2001 to a private owner in Japan. He retained the car for personal use over the next 22 years until our from him directly late last year.

The first full service in Japan took place at 25,000 kilometers and the last one in 2019 at 137,000 kilometers. Upon arrival in the States, the car was sent to David Nutley Automotive in San Diego, California for full engine and gearbox out major services and safety checks as well as the complete rebuilding of the braking system. Total expense for all work, tires and new rims exceeded $30,000 USD.

The car has received some paintwork over the years to address stone chips on the bonnet, front valence, rockers and wheel arches but looks quite presentable and the car overall looks significantly younger than the indicated mileage.

There is zero running time on the car presently since the completion of the full engine out services, brake service and the fitting of the new rims and tires.

This Porsche is ready for any manner of immediate and enthusiastic enjoyment her fortunate new owner may desire.

My thanks and kind regards always,
