Bright Nights, WBUR's 2024 Gala, took place on April 30 and May 1 at CitySpace at The Lavine Broadcast Center. The evening of May 1st opened with a performance by singer-songwriter Kimaya Diggs. Then renowned Harvard scholar Henry Louis Gates, Jr. discussed the tenth season of “Finding Your Roots,” exploring identity and ancestry, with Radio Boston’s Tiziana Dearing.
