The Malaysian Passport is famous for two things: 1. It was the only passport that could bring its owner to North Korea without a visa. 2. It bans its holder from going to Israel. These two characteristics make Malaysian passport one of the most bizarre passports in the world.

Malaysia has had a close relationship with North Korea. However, that friendship has been on suspension due to a mysterious political assassination in 2017.

In one of my previous videos, I discussed how Malaysia is one of the countries that straight out bans Israeli passport holders from entering. Fortunately, Israel did not retaliate by banning Malaysians from visiting. Rather, it’s the Malaysian government that forbids its own citizens from travelling to Israel. On the first page of the Malaysian passport, it says the passport is valid for all countries except Israel.

However, there are much more to the Malaysian passport than the things we just mentioned, more in the video.
