Took a short trip up to Beech Mountain in the western NC mountains (near Blowing Rock/Boone), and thought I would document my first ever experience fishing for Trout. Hiked a couple of miles and caught a couple of native/wild Brook Trout in Pond Creek, and several stocked Rainbow, Brown, and Brook Trout at Lake Coffey.
