Now we just think of ESPN2 as the twin of ESPN, but when it debuted in October of 1993, it was positioned as a younger, hipper, edgier version of ESPN. Its signature program, SportsNight, featured the now well-known Suzy Kolber and the terribly miscast Keith Olbermann, now an MSNBC news show host.
