Follow me via FPV up the ominous alpine testpiece Dark Star (10c) at Temple Crag in CA. This is pitch 1 & 2 that I linked in one long 70m mega pitch. Getting up to the base of this route I felt very nervous. Everything had to go perfectly in order for us to make it to the top with enough daylight to scout the long descent. Luckily the technical crux of the entire route was 50ft or so off the deck, which means once I passed it, the rest of the climbing itself was going to be manageable. The crux on this route was a small dihedral with a super-thin crack. Some tricky 10c stemming moves got me through the crux and into the rest of the mountain I had to climb.
