FAQ Series PT 3: Jewelry, Registration & Apparatuses

Most face and ear piercings are allowed but it is up to the discretion of the performer and coach whether or not the body jewelry risks injuring the performer as well as damaging the apparatus.
In the case of rings, most rings must be removed unless it is a plain band.

Next, registration is not an application. We pride ourselves in hosting inclusive events, therefore, once the registration form and payment are completed, your spot is guaranteed.

Lastly, yes, you may bring your own apparatus, except for Silks and Hammock. Silk and Hammock performers must use the fabrics provided.

If you choose to bring your own Lyra, please ensure it is tabless and hooked by one span set. Any other configuration, including a hand loop will be categorized under the Specialty Apparatuses Category.
