Restaurant-Style Patiala Chicken Recipe | Authentic & Delicious

Welcome to Hossain Chef! In this video, we're bringing you the authentic taste of Patiala with our Restaurant-Style Patiala Chicken recipe. This dish is rich, creamy, and packed with flavor, making it perfect for your next family dinner or special occasion.

Marinate the Chicken:
In a bowl, mix chicken pieces with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, and salt. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour.

Prepare the Gravy:
Heat oil or ghee in a large pan. Add cumin seeds, bay leaves, cloves, and cinnamon stick. Sauté until fragrant.
Add finely chopped onions and cook until golden brown.
Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and slit green chilies. Cook for a couple of minutes.
Add tomato puree, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until the oil separates from the masala.

Cook the Chicken:
Add the marinated chicken to the pan. Mix well and cook on medium heat until the chicken is tender.
Stir in fresh cream and garam masala. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until the gravy thickens and coats the chicken pieces.

Tips for Perfect Patiala Chicken:
Marinate the chicken for at least an hour to allow the flavors to penetrate.
Use fresh ingredients for the best taste.
Adjust the spice level according to your preference.
