This 30 min practice will help you improve your flexibility through inner thighs.
It is perfect for all levels because it can also serve as a foundational warm up for middle splits. We will work on hip mobility, glutes strength and inner thigh flexibility. Everything that is necessary for pain free middle splits. These are not only some passive stretches. We will start with a targeted warm up, good amount of movement and some strengthening exercises to follow along so that you can feel more comfortable and more at ease once you feel ready to practice middle splits.

These are exercises that I use for my practice. I have never been a gymnast or a ballet dancer. I started working on my middle splits at the age of 31 with good consistency and understanding of what is required. And this routine is exactly what helped me.

Middle splits is a very advanced pose that should be approached slowly and carefully. This is not a “quick and easy” tutorial to achieve middle splits in one practice. That is simply impossible. This pose will take time and effort. I will offer you a variety of exercises to warm up your hips, improve mobility through hip joints and begin to stretch your inner thighs.

You can repeat this yoga routine 2-3 times a week to see some progress.

For this practice you might want to have a blanket or towel by your side to modify wide legged seated forward fold. Get comfy, get ready and as you begin on this beautiful journey take it slow, listen to your own body and be patient.

Thank you for sharing this practice with me and subscribing to my channel.

Much love,
Marina
