The Shaper Origin offers a ton of amazing uses, but by far my favorite has been using it for inlays. Coupled with the Shaper Plate, the ability to make smaller inlays is fast, portable, and repeatable.

Here I walk through my process for setting up an inlay using white oak plywood for a larger table build. It's always nerve-wracking cutting into a completed table, but with the precision of the Shaper Origin it is much less of a guessing game.

The Shaper Origin is expensive, but in cases like this it's well-worth the investment in my opinion.
