Join Tony Bathwaite at the St Norbert Arts Centre as we learn to make kites.
Kite making and flying kites is something that families do in Barbados. Children learn to recycle and use available items for the kite spine, coloured tissue or paint to personalize their kite and techniques to create sound when it flies. In Barbados, families fly kits during Easter and people enter kite fly competitions for grand prizes, cars, etc.
