Although many people would immediately think of Bali, Hawaii, Palawan or Maldives as the best islands, Siargao was also voted by Condé Nast Traveler readers as the best island in Asia but also topped the Condé’s list as the best island in the world.

Siargao Island attracts thousands of tourists specially surfers all over the world for its famous surfing spot called Cloud 9 which is responsible in making Siargao acquire its title as the Surfing Capital of the Philippines. Besides this, the island also offers plenty of activities like island hopping, cliff jumping, snorkeling, diving etc. The island is also home to warm and friendly locals which another reason why foreign travelers keep on coming back to the island.
