We had come to Garissa, the place that many Kenyans told me was "the most dangerous city in Kenya", a place of kidnappings and terrorism. Perhaps that was all an exaggeration. I was more interested in the local Somali culture, so I brought my new Tanzanian friend along to find some camel milk, a local specialty. Little did we know, we would find a very different kind of experience.
