Howth, a quaint Irish fishing village, was perfect for me, being a short trip from Dublin, where you meet locals and visit fish markets with Dublin's Best seafood, farmers markets, restaurants, eat classic Irish staples paired perfectly with a pint of Guinness. If you're short on time when visiting Dublin, Ireland, take a 25-minute train ride to Howth, walk along the sea cliffs, take Instagram photos of the harbour, the Dublin Bay, taste authentic Irish food, and avoid the tourist crowds.
