We are not strangers to Siquijor. We've made frequent trips in the past but what we experience was a very sleepy province with a good number of natural attractions. Getting to the island was quite tricky then with few ferry options plying the Dumaguete-Siquijor route. Yet with the island's unexplainable lure made us go back every time.
Fast forward to the present we've been hearing a lot of buzz about the island with the constant influx of local and foreign tourists visiting the province. This made us curious enough to return and feature what's new and what's hot in the island.
Much has changed from the frequency of the ferries, ticketing systems, the number of organized tours and most of all the exponential growth in sights and attractions to enjoy in the island.
In this feature, we did our best to compress as much as we could to give you a glimpse of what Siquijor has to offer.
Hopefully the clips would enlighten and encourage you to consider the province as the next travel destination of choice.
