On our first group overland trip, we head far off the beaten path towards the remote Kofa Wilderness Area to explore the ruins of the long forgotten Resolution Mine. Relatively well preserved, this fascinating glimpse into mining camp life tells the story of those that lived and worked the operation. The journey to get there is rugged and a long way from the nearest paved road, but well worth the effort. After visiting the mine, we'll camp out in the desert before returning back to the highway.
