After a snapped chain going out of the pits in qualifying, I had to start from the back of the grid (P22) for race 1 of the weekend. Unfortunately unknown to the team, when the chain snapped it had damaged part of the clutch mechanism. This meant I struggled to get the car below 3rd gear and had to blip the throttle every time to go down the box, luckily my flat shift helped me on the upshifts. This made the start fun as I struggled to even start in my grid box and even with my foot fully down to the floor the car was trying to drive forward. The video is the highlights of race 1 on my battle through the field to cross the line in P6 which would later become P5 due to a driver ahead getting a time penalty.
