We visited the Texas Renaissance Festival near Houston for the first time since Covid, and had an incredible time. The family atmosphere was everywhere, the costumes were great, and the food was good, although a bit on the expensive side. But that's to be expected at such events. It was opening weekend (Oct. 7, 8), and we were there on that Sunday. The festival is held each weekend and ends on Thanksgiving weekend. The Bulletin, a weekly newspaper Sharon and I put out in Brazoria County, Texas, partnered this year with festival organizers to give some of our readers an opportunity to attend the festival free of charge. I hope they had as great of a time as we did.
