Here is a very simple way to take crooked, warped, cupped, lumber and straighten it out. Someone told me all you have to do is leave it out in the rain. When it soaks up water it will straighten out. In the first part of this series, I tested that idea. I had some ponderosa pine boards that I milled on my Woodmizer LT15 sawmill. They warped horribly when they dried. After I left them out in the rain, I was surprised to see how well it worked. In the next video we confirmed when they dry out again, they will warp again. In this video we do an experiment to see if we can get them to dry straight. See the surprising results in this video.
