Luis Van Gaal recently said that Argentina's victory in the world cup was rigged in Messi's favor. And that Fifa wanted Messi to be world champion.
So Van Gaal, here is proof you're wrong
First: Messi scolded you during the game for your mistreatment of Riquelme and after the game told you that you talk too much. Now, it seems Messi was right, and that you do indeed talk too much. Why couldn't you have listened to Messi and stopped talking nonsense.
Second: It's not like we're talking about a loser who never achieved anything, no, Messi has literally won everything possible. And already made it to a previous world cup final and if he hadn't been so unlucky in that game, he already would've been world champion since 2014.
Third: Argentina had three goals ruled out in the Saudi Arabia game due to offside. With one of them SO close that a lot of people think it WASN'T an offside.
Did Argentina get help in that game? Absolutely NOT. The penalty they got was checked and verified by VAR.
Fourth: Argentina's second game vs Mexico (and its semi final vs Croatia too), was officiated by one of the best referees in the world and the Mexico game was incredibly tight, it was SO tight that Messi had to comfort Emiliano Martinez in the tunnel before the game, because a loss, or even a draw, would knock Argentina out. So, it was Messi and his moment of magic, his long-distance low shot, that got Argentina fired up after the devastating 1st round loss.
Fifth: the epic quarter final game vs Holland. Van gaal claims that some Argentina players were not punished. That game's referee, Antonio Mateu Lahoz is one of the highest rated referees in the world and he gave a total of 18 yellow cards, 10 of them for Argentina. He also gave 10 minutes of added time, gave the Netherlands a free kick just outside the box, for them to equalise in the 101st minute and send the game to penalties. But at the end, it was real football that decided the game. Messi was so good, he not only gave Molina that crazy assist by nutmegging Ake, but Holland's players had a really hard time marking him, even though Van Gaal said before the game that Messi wasn't very important to Argentina. Instead, Van Gaal and his players were so focused on annoying the Argentina side, that they got Messi to tell Wout Weghorst after the game: Qué mirás, bobo? “What are you looking at fool? And although some people say he just wanted to shake hands with Messi, is this really a face you put on if you wanna shake hands with someone? How about a smile on your face instead of that crazy stare!
Finally Argentina beat Holland because they were the better side and that is backed by the game statistics, highly in favor of Argentina.
Sixth: France coach Didier Deschamps who Argentina beat in the best final in world cup history, recently said he disagreed with those who said Argentina got help in the world cup. And even your own team captain, Virgil Van Dijk, who at times during the game, was defending Messi, has publicly disagreed with you.
At the end, I can confirm that Messi world cup is driving Van Gaal CRAZY and will PROBABLY help him win the ballon d'or. So will that automatically make it rigged too?
