In this video I walk through the National Museum of the United States Air Force and give the viewer a brief look at some of the many planes on exhibit. Be sure to watch the end of the video for my walkthrough of the presidential planes.

This place is awesome, you will need to plan on spending the full day here just to see most of the planes on display and if you are a real aviation buff then plan on coming back for a second day to get in to the detail of the displays. They offer a number free tours of each of the main buildings during the day and I would highly suggest you consider taking one, two or all of them.

During my visit I took the Cold War Gallery tour that included the missile room. It lasted about an hour and fifteen minutes and was very informative. I am looking forward to coming back and taking some of the other tours, especially tour of the Presidential planes.

You can not bring food or drink into the Museum, they have two food courts that serve lunch and snacks. The prices are a little higher that what you would pay for the same at a outside restaurant. You can pack a lunch and eat it in the picnic area next to the parking lot.

Admission is free to the museum, but there are extra cost experiences available including an IMAX Theatre showing aviation movies and documentaries during the day. There are also simulators and special events. Parking is free and include an area for RVs
