Hello folks! Incredible! I found a rate axe with the shape of a viking battle axe! It was created by a blacksmith! This is not a factory release. The price was small about USD $8. When I saw that axe head I made decision instantly it's should be mine! Well, in restoration process the first stem was an electrolysis, to remove all rust from the axe head, then I used anglegrinder two remover dark layer from the blade.

Also, I used random sanding machine with few sandpapers and finally leave axe in iron chloride to add little of dark color. The handle of the axe, I made from walnut. The Scandinavian battle axe was from 90 cm to 120 cm. I choose the 1 m. When the ax handle ready I used two component paint and linseed oil. Old for handle wrap I used a leather, glue and two nails with epic had.

End finally I made crazy test for my new two handed viking battle axe. I hope you enjoy this restoration project. Thank you for attention!

Sincerely, Alex. Thanks for attention!
Good luck and health to everyone! With best wishes, Alex!
