I wanted to add a CNC Touch Probe for a long time to my CNC Router but never could find one that had a low height dimension in the Z-direction ... until now.
This is here a find on Amazon but you will find it on Ebay and Aliexpress as well. For the price of $76 it is quite amazing. The built quality is very good and my first impression if the accuracy of the probe itself is also really good. I test in this set up +-0.05mm however if you would turn the probe and also measure from left and right I think it is reasonable to expect an accuracy of +-0.025mm.
Getting spare parts is an additional bonus as you can easily bend the stylus of the Touch Probe and the M2.5 connection thread is restricting a available selection.
If you contemplating to get a 3D CNC Touch Probe I think this is a good place to start, you can't go wrong for the money.
