This video talks you through the strategies you need to use to be successful in #AQA #GCSE #English #Literature, Paper 2 – the modern texts section. Using the steps I give, you'll be better prepared to analyse and understand how to succeed in your GCSE English Literature exam. The examples I give are from An Inspector Calls, #aninspectorcalls , but I talk through all the different question types that can be asked for any text, such as Blood Brothers, DNA, The History Boys, A Taste of Honey etc…
For An Inspector Calls, I talk through ideas to cover for all essay questions, how to make the right choice for your question, #planning a decent answer #essayplan. I include examples of how to begin paragraphs to maximise your marks, examples of analysis you can learn and reuse, and show you how to include #context. and at the end I’ll reveal the bits that most often go wrong. #evasmith
