In this video we are tasked with the removal of a pine tree that has partial failure at the root plate. This has caused the tree to grow in a very awkward shape leaning out towards the road. An option to speed line the branches was on my mind, however I decided the safer way was to simply drop them onto the tree below as it was very much in the way. Some branches got hung up but I knew I could get the tree done quick enough and have time to retrieve the hung up branches below me. I wasn't too happy with the idea of putting strain on the tree sped lining so I opted not to do so. All wood in this video was taken to a local firewood producer and all chip was taken for biomass.
