I like the Stihl msa 70 c battery powered chainsaw; it is quieter, lighter, and smells better! This model comes with a thinner chain and and a small bar which is the same size as "carving bars" that cost about $150. So for the price you get a chainsaw with the expensive carving bar already. I have been using this exclusively for my last few carvings and love it. This is my personal opinion and I have nothing to do with Stihl. If they want to sponsor me someday that would be nice, but this is my free endorsement.
