Perakumpura railway station is a small sub railway station and the forth highest railway station in Sri Lanka with an elevation of 1729.81m high above mean sea level. located in Nuwara Eliya district in the Central province at 211.00km on the Main Line between Nanuoya and Ambewela railway stations.The station was opened in 1990. Local trains, Udarata menike express train and Podi menike express trains served the station. Night Mail and Train No 1007,1008 trains will not stop at the station.
