Happy Easter! No Easter Bunnies here, just some sunny little birds. The Goldfinches are starting to look particularly sunny! And the Tufted Titmice may not be sunny in color, but they certainly have a sunny disposition :-)

Still waiting - impatiently - for Spring migration to arrive here. The rational me knows that they won't get here for another week or two. The always-hopeful-for-early-arrivals me is, well ... hopeful for early arrivals! lol. I do think I heard a Vireo one morning this week. It was early in the morning and I clearly heard something different. I'm not great at birding by ear but I can usually pick up on new arrivals. I turned on Merlin app and it heard a Blue-headed Vireo. I only heard it that one morning, though, so, if that is what it was, I think it was just passing through. I hope we get some Vireos for the summer. They're fun to watch at the bird pond!
