琵琶協奏曲《春秋》創作於1994年7－9月，被公認為中國現代琵琶協奏曲目中最重要的作品之一。春秋時代是中國歷史上一個重要的時期，也是孔子生活的年代，“春秋”二字也常常被作為中國古代文化石的代名詞。這部作品一“春秋”二字為題，除了具有其特寫的紀念意義外，更為重要的是借這一含意深遠的標題，来抒發今天的中國人對自己民族古老，輝煌而又博大精深的文化成就的崇拜，讚頌和追溯之情。

The Pipa Concerto "Spring and Autumn" was composed between July to September 1994 and is widely recognized as one of the most significant works in contemporary Chinese pipa concertos. The Spring and Autumn period is a crucial era in Chinese history and the time when Confucius lived. This composition, titled "Spring and Autumn," not only holds commemorative significance but, more importantly, employs this profound theme to express the admiration, praise, and exploration of the rich, glorious, and profound cultural achievements of the Chinese people throughout history.
