In this weeks video I cruise to the Northwich Dry Dock on the River Weaver so that my narrowboat can ‘come out of the water’ and have her bottom blacked.
This is DIY blacking and I chose to use Jotun 90 2 Pack winter grade without sandblasting as the jet wash at Northwich dry dock is extremely powerful and Jotun 90 is designed to go on services without the need for sandblasting. This video shows how we did it, the reasons why and how it all went - I hope you enjoy.
