Who are Marathas? Why do they need a reservation? Maharastra Government brought in reservation in their State government jobs and educational institutions to the Maratha community. However, the act was not lucky enough to see the light of the day. It was challenged before the High Court of Bombay and then before the Supreme Court of India.
