I wanted a taste of nostalgia as my mom used to buy the murtabak for me after school. It was a really nice lunch treat with the pickled onions. It still taste just as good. It is still made in the same front corner of the restaurant.

For nasi kandar, remember to ask for the special "sambal". Actually most outsiders and new generations, do not know that in Penang, the nasi kandar comes with a special coconut based sambal. Each nasi kandar outlet has its own secretly guarded formulae.

The general dining area has been moved a few shoplots down the road. This is my first time dining in this new place as a TOURIST!
