Delightful comedienne Penny Singleton, world famous for the Blondie movies of 1938-1950 made her final major acting appearance in this cameo in the opening of a MURDER SHE WROTE episode entitled "The Perfect Foil" from 1986. Penny played Angela Lansbury's aunt who is concerned about one of her nephews whom she hasn't heard from in months.
