Insights

Uridium is a horizontal flying shooter for the Commodore 64, where you have to cause as much carnage to the enemy's naval destoyer ship as possible whilst dodging fleets of enemy spacecraft, heat seeking missiles and obstacles such as turrets, antennas and the like. Once the time bomb is ready, you'll be requested to land on the furthest runway (reverse thrust whilst hovering above it). You'll then score points for timing each detonator correctly by hitting B when a score is highlighted (also a higher pitch note is played), earning bonuses for maximum impact. Once the explosion happens, you are flying at a higher altitude and given an opportunity to up your score by destroying missed targets as your craft retreats. Then onto the next level...

This game takes patience! The obstacles are subtle. Each wave of enemy crafts behave differently. The heat seeking missiles are difficult to evade. Learn their behaviours.
