In May of this year (2003), I was given the privilege of ministering to the young men and women of Teen Mania, a ministry founded by Ron Luce which ministers to thousands of teenagers each year and sends many to do mission work literally around the world. What made the time even more precious to me was the fact that Teen Mania resides in the former compound of Keith and Melody Green and Last Days Ministries. I even got to see Keith’s grave site and walk where he walked! As Ron and I talked about his vision to touch the hearts of teens in our nation, he asked if I would be willing to minister to and encourage the worship ministry of Teen Mania. I spent an afternoon with this awesome group of young men and women and began to get some real vision for how I might be able to help. A few days later, Ron sent me some ideas for songs for the coming year. The words of the song “I Can Change The World” were taken directly from his ideas. I simply added my ‘two-cent’s-worth’ and you have a really encouraging and challenging song…a bold statement every believer should be able to make.
