I went to the post office today to pick up my mail and all I got was one of those yellow slips telling me I had a package to pick up at the main desk. I got in line behind two people I know somewhat (small town acquaintances) and then got a big surprise when the postmaster handed me a white envelope from Macmillan Publishers! I had no idea why - unless maybe it was a Goodreads Giveaway book that I didn't get an email about (it has happened in the past.) But NO, it wasn't a Goodreads Giveaway book. I have checked my Goodreads account and confirmed that was not the source of this book surprise.
