Welcome to our video guide on Stroke Recovery Exercises: Overcoming Arm Stiffness. If you’re in stage 2 of stroke recovery, you might be experiencing muscle stiffness, or spasticity, and tight tendons. This can make movements, especially against gravity, challenging. You might start to regain some movement, but not fully. At this stage, passive range of motion is still crucial.

In this video, we’ll guide you through a series of occupational therapy exercises designed to help regain strength and range of motion in your arm. The exercises included are:

Trunk Rotation
Shoulder Rotation
Gentle Rocking
Diagonal Reaching
Arm Turning

Consistency is key in stroke recovery. Please be consistent with your home therapy. Let’s exercise our minds and bodies to get stronger together. Remember, every step counts when it comes to stroke recovery
