Refinishing an Oval coffee table top

Heavy Lacquer I have learnt to just head straight for the stripper. Heat wave here, and it was drying where I started applying before reaching the other side. This made the removal process a little more difficult on the dried area. The key with stripper is to keep it moist.

After removing with the metal scraper, over with steel wool. Sanding with 120 grit then 180grit. Followed up with a 220 grit light hand sand.

3 x coats of stain. Followed with 3 coats of Water based Polyurethane. Light hand sanding between coats.

The base was sprayed which I forgot to film. Table was slipping as worktop had just been waxed 🤦‍♀️

What do you think? Stained or should I have just left it natural?
